Latest Update Because of my health, it was becoming more difficult to look after the birds, it become a case of just watering and feeding them. It was not fair to the birds, if you are not spending the time with them. I kept saying that I would have to get rid of them, but kept delaying it, I attend one of the club meetings and there was a man there who had just started out in budgies but who unfortunately had just lost his job. I asked him how many birds he had, he replied 4 so I told him if he visited me in the next couple of days he could have all my birds and equipment. He was there the next day, and went away with 30 birds and breeding cages etc. He keeps in touch regular and recently had his first chicks hatch out. and has now just become a committee member of the club. I am still in touch with friends within the fancy and as I help publish schedules, and catalogues for a number of bird societies, also I intend to stay with the fancy and devote more time to updating this web site with some new articles, also include show details and results.
